Born in 1963, Mark has been drawing since he could hold a pencil. He has been creating his artworks on canvas professionally for about eighteen years. Mark primarily works with acrylics; however, his talent is such that he can use all mediums with confidence and passion. Mark's range of images is as diverse as the things that move and inspire him.

Believing in keeping life simple and enjoying the priceless and uncomplicated treasures that the world provides. He is quoted as saying, "I paint because looking and enjoying are not quite enough for me. By trying to create or recreate something I get to immerse myself more fully in whatever the image is, regardless of what initially attracted me to it. Things I didn't see at first become gloriously obvious."

Mark's paintings are now influenced by his desire to have the world be a safe, caring planet for his children, "I can't be here forever but I can influence the world my children grow up in". Mark loves being a father and is besotted with his beautiful wife Nicole and his children. His favourite hobbies include surfing, fishing and karate. He is a fourth Dan and the Regional Chief Instructor for Shotokan Karate.

Mark, through his life experiences, has had a strong sense of self and his potential. He is determined to make his mark on the world. Remember the name, you will hear it again!
